The cast:stream Moderator allows the presenter to easily prepare and conduct broadcasts right from their desktop. Designed to give the presenter total control of the broadcast, the Moderator provides all the functions needed to deliver a professional presentation in a logical, easy-to-use layout.

Create
cast:stream supports a wide variety of media types within presentations, allowing presenters to use their favorite authoring tools such as Powerpoint™, Adobe Photoshop™, and Macromedia Flash™. And with Moderator, existing MPEG-4, Quicktime VR, JPEG files and over 80 other file formats can easily be added to make presentations come alive.

Control
The Moderator offers navigational tools to control the presentation media, allowing the presenter to move back and forth in the presentation or jump to a specific slide if needed. The presenter is also provided with thumbnail views of the previous, present and future slide in the presentation sequence for a quick position reference to allow smoother transitions.

And cast:stream allows multiple presenters to work together in delivering a single broadcast by sharing control from any location with an Internet connection. Moderators can be made available to support the broadcast where control can be granted and taken back at anytime by the master moderator during the broadcast.

Connect
The Moderator also provides the presenter with feedback to make their broadcast more effective and interactive. cast:stream's Live Poll allows the presenter to pose multi-question surveys or quizzes, integrating them into presentations ahead of time or on the fly. The presenter receives feedback in real time and results are stored and can later be exported to a spreadsheet or database.

cast:stream's Instant Messaging allows the presenter to get real-time feedback from the audience regarding questions and areas for clarification. The presenter can chose to privately view these questions and decide when to respond to these messages without disrupting the presentation.

For users with disabilities, cast:stream Slide Captioning provides text captioning that can be included for each slide.
