In order to get the best possible performance from cast:stream, it is important to have QuickTime set up to match your current Internet connection. This is usually established when QuickTime is installed, where you're asked to select your Internet connection speed (e.g., 56k modem, DSL or corporate LAN).
If you did not specify this when you installed QuickTime or if your Internet connection has changed since installing, you should set the connection speed in the QuickTime Control Panel (Windows and MacOS 9) or in the QuickTime System Preferences (MacOS X).
If you are behind a firewall please select HTTP Port ID 80 in the streaming
transport section of the QuickTime control panel.
