BT Ignite was looking for a presentation solution that would deliver slides and video simultaneously and which would be easy for one person to set up. Most importantly, the solution had to be completely cross-platform for Windows and MacOS. The answer was cast:stream.

"cast:stream is already saving us at least $250,000 per year in travel costs," says Gary Shainberg, Head of IP Technology Support Group. "We're running it on Apple XServe enterprise servers, and delivering broadcasts to an audience that is 80% broadband and over 95% Windows based. Cross-platform use was mandatory for us, and cast:stream has performed exactly as expected. With its polling and on-demand features, on a scale of 1 to 5, I'd give it a 5."
